S Wave Velocity Structure of Istanbul from Array Microtremor Measurements

 
The aim of the project:

Calculating the S wave velocity structure from the microtremor array method, obtaining the gelogical structure up to 1000 m. depth, and determine soil amplification and dominant period from the calculated S wave velocities.

During the field study of the project,

40 locations have been selected. Array dimensions of  50, 200 and 500 m were used in microtremor measurements.
