Field Trip

¹  Originally founded as an astronomical observatory, it is now functioning as a graduate institute and the center for the research and application of space and earth science. 

»  National Earthquake Monitoring Center of KOERI runs a national weak motion seismology network. 

¿  Demonstration of the “Rapid Response and Early Warning System” as well as of the shaking table.

½  September 18, 2010, morning (9 - 11 a.m.)

·  Guided tour through “the Center for Satellite Communication and Remote Sensing” which is the first center established in Turkey to conduct application oriented projects in remote sensing and satellite communications technologies.
