RESEARCH INTERESTS AND PC EXPERIENCE
  • PC literate in all Windows applications--Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD 2000, etc.
  • Excellent knowledge of computer programming using VISUAL BASIC, creating programs for nonlinear analyses of reinforced concrete structures, using Finite Element Method
  • Competent in use of linear and nonlinear general-purpose Finite Element Analysis Programs--SAP90, SAP2000,  LUSAS, and X-TRACT.
  • Testing experience with Lateral Cyclic Loading to RC column, Monotonic Loading to prestressed slabs, and RC beams, Cyclic Behavior to RC bar frame with and without infill walls, Pure Shear RC Panel Test, Three-Dimensional Shotcreted Panel Building Test, Non-destructive Material Tests, and Material Tests (i.e. fc`, ft., etc).
  • Microtremer measurement, to determine the natural frequency of the existing buildings using both free vibration and  forced vibration measuring technique.
  • Consultations with Turkish professors and Japanese experts in Cities of Dinar in 1995 and Izmit in 1999 to make site investigations after the earthquake.
