STRUCTURAL IDENTIFICATION OF THE EDIRNEKAPI MIHRIMAH SULTAN MOSQUE THROUGH DYNAMIC RESPONSE STUDIES

In this study, the dynamic characteristics of the Edirnekapi Mihrimah Sultan Mosque are investigated. A three dimensional finite element model is constructed and the results are compared with those obtained from the ambient vibration test results carried out on the actual structure. As a result of correlation, the natural vibration frequencies and mode shapes of the mosque are identified.
